This apartment renovation in Sheepshead Bay focused on introducing a cohesive millwork language across the primary living spaces, bedrooms, and home office. The project centered on custom Italian cabinetry and integrated millwork systems designed to unify the apartment’s interior while providing structured storage and architectural clarity throughout the residence.
In the main living area, a full-height media wall integrates concealed storage with open display shelving and recessed lighting, creating a continuous cabinetry composition across the room’s primary elevation. The bedroom incorporates minimal bedside millwork and floating shelving elements that maintain visual continuity with the apartment’s overall material palette. In the home office, a custom desk system combines integrated shelving, overhead storage, and built-in cabinetry to organize the workspace within a compact footprint. Across the apartment, millwork elements were fabricated to align precisely with wall conditions and architectural openings, ensuring a consistent installation across multiple rooms.
