This ground-up residence in Waban, Massachusetts was developed with a comprehensive millwork strategy that integrates storage, kitchen systems, wardrobes, and service areas into a cohesive architectural framework. AKO fabricated and installed custom Italian cabinetry throughout the residence to establish continuity between living spaces and functional zones.
The millwork language combines warm wood tones, matte neutral finishes, and full-height cabinetry installations. Kitchen systems incorporate panel-ready appliance integration while maintaining clean architectural lines. Wardrobes, closets, and utility areas follow the same disciplined design logic, creating consistent material alignment throughout the home. Stone surfaces visible within the project were coordinated with other trades to maintain precise integration with the cabinetry systems.
